GetGiving – smartphone charity app

Hello, my name is Sam Crome and I am writing to you on the behalf of GetGiving (http://www.getgiving.co.uk). We are a new smartphone app using PayPals adaptive payments API (being launched this week at their Innovate 09 conference), that facilitates fast, simple payments to charities.
Please see the ‘How it works’ section of our website, it  explains it much clearer than words alone! We’re really excited about this project and really see it as the future of donating money to charity. Also, whilst most developers are using the payments system from PayPal for commerical benefit, we’re trying to show that great new technology like smartphones should use their strengths to aid charities and good causes, as well as all the other cool stuff they can do in our day to day lives.
At the moment we are spreading the word, contacting charities (using MissionFish’s database) and looking to launch the app at the start of 2010. We would love it if a publication such as Iphonelife could give us some column space, or perhaps mentions us to your contacts. I am happy to go through the details of the project and even write a piece about it if necessary, the main aim really is just to get the message out to as many people as we can.
I look forward to hearing from you and I hope you like the website,
Sam
